Lumen Radio W-BACnet PRO

  The W-BACnet solution eliminates the need to run control cables for BACnet MS/TP installations significantly reducing time-consuming cable installations, installation planning, troubleshooting, and daisy-chaining. With the PRO version of W-up to four BACnet MS/TP devices can be connected to one W-BACnet PRO Node - making it even easier to connect multiple devices located in close proximity to each other. W-BACnet utilizes a wireless mesh network in order to transmit the BACnet frames to the right destination. One of the greatest benefits is that the standard of BACnet MS/TP is kept, meaning all BACnet MS/TP devices can be used together with W-BACnet. A W-BACnet unit can be configured either as a Gateway that is connected to the BACnet Client (BACnet Master), or a Node that is connected to the BACnet Server (BACnet Slave). A W-BACnet network can consist of up to 100 Nodes, meaning up to 400 BACnet MS/TP devices can be wirelessly connected. The W-BACnet PRO enables the possibility to connect clusters of BACnet MS/TP devices to one Node, meaning that cost-efficiency can be improved by combining traditional in-room cabling (shorter cable runs) with a wireless link eliminating the longer cable runs. The W-BACnet product is built upon LumenRadio’s MiraOS and MiraMesh, consisting of several patented features enabling extremely reliable radio communication, fast installation, and extended range. MiraOS is used in a vast number of installations around the world for building automation, HVAC control, lighting control and industrial sensor networks.
