Best Practice For Steam Control Valve Installation Inside a Cabinet

Setup A: Worst Case Typical installation. The actuator is in an enclosed environment with very little cooling. No insulation on pipe nor venting. 

Setup B: Good To insulate the pipe will drastically reduce ambient temperature at the actuator level. Easy to accomplish and low cost. 

Setup C: Best of all Combination of insulation and extra vent added. Not always easy to accomplish. Ambient temperature will not be an issue. Note: Spartan Actuator uses a high temperature resistant yoke made of polymer with glass filled fiber. With low heat conductance.
